Dear students and families,
We are expecting rain throughout the day tomorrow which means we will follow our new indoor arrival and lunch procedures. These procedures will be followed whenever the administration determines that the weather is not conducive to outdoor activities.
Students arriving by bus should enter the building through the north stairwell door located near the drop-off point for the buses. High school students should go directly to the theater. Breakfast will be available in the theater lobby. Middle school students will wait in the dance studios with students in grade 7 in room 101 and those in grade 8 in room 102. Breakfast for middle school students will be available in the corridor that leads to the annex.
High school students driving themselves or getting dropped off by families/carpools will enter through the theater doors and go directly in the theater. Middle school students getting dropped off will enter through the main door and head straight to the dance studios.
All students have been assigned a lunch seat. Students will find their lunch assignment by logging into the PowerSchool portal. It will also be emailed to you and your parents.
Students should remain in their classes until they are dismissed over the PA to go to their assigned space for lunch. Once you have been dismissed, it is important to go directly to your assigned room.
Students who are getting a school lunch will be able to pick it up on the way.
It will also be important to remain in your assigned seat for the duration of lunch. This will help us to more accurately identify any close contacts in the event that a student tests positive for COVID-19 after being in school on an indoor lunch day.
You must remain in the room you have been assigned to for lunch until you hear that you have been dismissed to move to your first afternoon class. Once dismissed, please go directly to your class.
