Knowing that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused disruption in family’s educational plans, PVPA, with permission from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, we will be accepting applications for a supplemental lottery.

Due to the public health crisis, PVPA is exploring different educational models for the fall semester. We are focusing on building a strong remote learning model as our foundation to accommodate the varying health and safety needs of staff, students, and families. In addition to our remote program, we are working to determine how/when/and if we can bring students to campus for additional activity to support learning and social connection. These activities will be contingent on the current state of the pandemic and will follow all safety protocols and recommendations (mask wearing, outside activity when possible, small group focus, etc).

How does a supplemental lottery work?

We cannot hold another lottery until we have exhausted our current 2020-21 waitlist and still have open spots; this means that for now, we will be holding onto new applications. When we fully exhaust our current waitlist, we will be allowed to hold a lottery and generate a new waitlist. The same enrollment preferences will apply to the new waitlist (sibling, resident, and non-resident status). We believe our approach to remote learning is safe, consistent, and will serve families well. Additionally, when schools are able to return to a more traditional educational model, your student will get to experience the full breadth and depth of the PVPA; performing and visual arts within the context of an excellent college preparatory curriculum.

Per our enrollment policy, this waitlist will remain active until the next lottery, meaning you will remain eligible for open spots through the end of the fall semester.
